A concept is something completely concrete. For the unity of the concept with its own negation, as a specific being in itself and for itself, is individuality, which constitutes its own connection and universality. In this case, the links of the concept are inseparable. Those categories of reflection will always be regarded as valid independently, and can be understood in isolation from their counterparts; but since their identity is established in the concept, each element of the concept can only be understood directly from its counterpart and with its counterpart. [Explanation] In the abstract, universality, particularity and individuality are the same as identity, difference and basis. But the universal is the same thing in itself, but it must be understood that in the universal there is both the particular and the individual. Again, that which is particular is that which is different or prescriptive, but it must be understood that it is universal in itself and as an individual. In the same way, the individual thing must be understood as the subject or basis, which contains species and species in itself, and is itself a substantial being. These are abstract things, which take only the element of universality from the concept and discard the element of particularity and individuality, so they do not develop from particularity and individuality, but abstract from the concept. §165 The link of individuality first establishes the distinction between the links in the concept. Since individuality is the self-reflection of the negation of the concept, it is initially the free differentiation (or self-differentiation) of the concept, which is the first negation of the concept. In this way, the prescriptive nature of the concept is established, but this is established as particularity. That is to say, in the first place, that these distinctions express only the determinacy of the elements of the concept relative to each other, and in the second place, that the identity of the elements (that is, this is that) is likewise established. The particularity of this established concept is judgment. In psychology, clear and distinct concepts refer to common ideas or representations. A clear concept refers to an abstract, simple, specific representation. In addition to simplicity, a clear idea has a sign, or a certain stipulation, which can be singled out as a sign of subjective knowledge. Indeed, there is nothing more sufficient to signify the decay and externality of logic than the beloved category of signs.
The right idea is closer to the concept, even to the idea, but it still means nothing more than the formal correspondence between a concept or even a representation and its object (an external thing). As for the distinction between the so-called concept of subordination and the concept of equivalence, it is based on a meaningless distinction between the universal and the particular, and also on an external reflective way of looking at the relationship between the two. The enumeration of contrary and contradictory ideas, of positive and negative ideas, and so on, is but an occasional observation of the prescriptive nature of thought, while the fact that these forms themselves belong to the sphere of existence and essence has been discussed before, and they have nothing to do with the prescriptive nature of concepts themselves. To truly distinguish the concept into the three links of the universal, the particular, and the individual is, so to speak, to constitute the three forms of the concept,plastic wheelie bins, but that can only be said when external abstract thought separates them from each other.
